Organized by American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and Chinese Academy of Engineering, the 21stInternational Space plane and Hypersonic Systems and Technology Conference was held in Xiamen University from Mar. 6thto Mar. 9th. The conference is composed of reports on national progresses of hypersonic researches, reports on national important projects, forums and plenary talks. 13 academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering and well-known scholars from America, England, German, Russia, ESA and other 18 countries and international organizations attended the conference.
This conference is supposed to be the most influential international academic conference in the field of aerospace plane and hypersonic technology research in the world. 65 students and teachers from NPU attended the conference and 45 papers presented. Professor Liu Peijin, Yan hong, Yan Xiaodong, Li Chunna, Song Wenyan, Fan Wei, Gong Chunlin served as chairman of the conference sessions. Professor Liu Peijin was invited to be the special guest of the forum.
